This is a conditional visibility feature allows you to conditionally hide or show elements on a form, depending on the data the user has input to the form. A show/hide rule can be configured in the form of a Calculation that results in a true/false. If the condition is TRUE, then the element will be shown, if the condition is FALSE, then the element will be hidden. Show/Hide rules can be configured on the following elements
- Fields
- Containers
- Tab Containers
- Action buttons on from
Creating a Show/Hide Rule
- Go to form builder of the form you want to apply the show/hide rule
- Select the Configure icon of the element you want to configure a show/hide condition to open the properties of that element
- Find the "Show When" property (Depending on the element, this may be in OPTIONS> Visibility of the properties window)
- Type in a calculation that evaluates to a true/false
- Click OK.
- Select SAVE to save changes.
