End of Support for Firefox

Why is this happening?

As part of our ongoing efforts to optimize the ReadiNow platform and ensure the best possible user experience, we have decided to end support for the Firefox browser. This decision is based on the declining popularity of Firefox among our user base. By focusing our resources on the more widely used browsers, such as Chrome and Edge, we can provide more efficient and effective support, ensuring that our platform remains robust and reliable for the majority of our users.

What does "End of Support" mean?

Users will still be able to access the ReadiNow platform using Firefox, however ReadiNow will no longer test the platform with Firefox and issues that apply only to Firefox will not be fixed.

This will be upgraded to an "End of Life" stage at a later date where the ReadiNow platform will no longer be accessible on Firefox.

When will this happen?

Firefox will no longer be supported after the release of version 2.201, on 1 May 2025.

Who or what is affected?

Customers using Firefox browser are affected. Customers using Chrome or Edge are not affected.

What should I do?

Users who are accessing the ReadiNow platform with the Firefox browser will need to switch to a different web browser such as Edge or Chrome to continue using the platform. One of these browsers will need to be installed, and depending on the corporate environment, this may require intervention from your IT help desk. ReadiNow cannot assist in this process.

Configuration

Some configuration may be required to get a new browser working on a corporate device or corporate network. Once it is working, it will also be necessary to ensure that the regional settings are correct, especially for date and time display. Please refer to your browser documentation or to your IT help desk to find out how to change the settings.

Testing

Finally, try logging into the ReadiNow platform using the newly installed browser.
