Create a Calendar

Calendar

Calendars allow you to visualise records on a time-scale, they are based off an existing Report.

To create a standalone Calendar

  1. Open an Application in Edit mode
  2. Open the 'Create New Page' menu (click )
  3. Select New Calendar
  4. Select Create

When you press Create (above) the New Calendar dialogue appears, see screenshot.

To complete the New Calendar dialogue:

  1. Enter a name for the Calendar in the Name field (this will be title for the Calendar)
  2. Enter a description in the Description field
  3. In the Report field, select the Picker Icon (pencil), the Select Report dialogue appears
  4. Select the Report for the Calendar items and press OK
  5. Optionally complete additional setup options (Advanced, Format, Deployment)

Add Navigation Access to the Calendar

The final step to perform when configuring a Calendar is to set up Navigation Access rules so that users can view the calendar (security rules are automatically inherited from the parent Report)
